Canadian Options Symbology Initiative

To coincide with the Options Symbology Initiative (OSI) being implemented in the United States by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), a joint Montréal Exchange / Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC) project was launched. This project's principal objective is to adapt and modify all Canadian option series to coincide with the model being used at the OCC. This project will simplify the symbology of exchange-listed index and equity options and support long-term growth in the options industry.

Hereunder you will find symbology notices issued by the Montréal Exchange.
