Request for Quote (RFQ)

The Bourse wishes to highlight the availability of the Request for Quote (RFQ) functionality. The RFQ was launched on March 28, 2016.

The functionality allows the RFQ submitter to request a bid, an offer or a two sided market on any MX listed instrument. Market participants who elect to respond to the RFQ will do so by placing an order in the central limit order book.

In addition to the dissemination of RFQs via the High Speed Vendor Feed (HSVF) and Order Book Feed (OBF) the entry of an RFQ could result in market makers being advised of its entry by the Market Operations.
